Committees

Most of the work on a bill happens in committee, before the whole House votes on it. Ansari serves on:

  • Committee on Oversight and Government Reform
  • Committee on Natural Resources
  • Subcommittee on Economic Growth, Energy Policy, and Regulatory Affairs
  • Subcommittee on Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and Government Innovation
  • Subcommittee on Federal Law Enforcement
  • Subcommittee on Energy and Mineral Resources
  • Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations

Where this comes from. Only official public records, shown as they are, without opinions: votes from the Clerk of the U.S. House (clerk.house.gov); bills and summaries from the Library of Congress (congress.gov / govinfo.gov); campaign money from the Federal Election Commission (fec.gov); offices and phone numbers from Yassamin Ansari’s official website. Each vote and bill links to its official record.
